Free Shooter Game in Linux – Xonotic 0.5

Xonotic is a free (GPL), fast-paced first-person shooter that works on Linux, Windows and OS X. The project is geared towards providing addictive arena shooter gameplay which is all spawned and driven by the community itself. Xonotic is a direct successor of the Nexuiz project with years of development between them, and it aims to become the best possible open-source FPS (first-person-shooter) of its kind.

IBM sametime installation in Linux

IBM released sametime version 8.5.1 for Linux based installer. For downloading the software you need to registered and get the download.

Click here for download the IBM sametime version 8.5.1.

After downloading the package. Run the below command in terminal.

sahab-laptop@ubuntulinux:~/Downloads$ unzip ST851-Lin-Client.zip
Archive:  ST851-Lin-Client.zip
inflating: sametime-connect-8.5.1-1.i586.rpm
inflating: sametime-connect-8.5.1.i386.deb
sahab-laptop@ubuntulinux:~/Downloads$ sudo dpkg –install sametime-connect-8.5.1.i386.deb

Unpacking sametime-connect (from sametime-connect-8.5.1.i386.deb) …
