Blender 3D program setup in Ubuntu 11.10

Apart from being a great 3D modeller and one of the best animation programs, Blender is also a great composting program.
Blender is professional Open Source 3D modelling suit that’s runs in Ubuntu (which also available for windows). The latest version of blender is 2.60a.

Installation steps
- sudo add-apt-repository ppa:cheleb/blender-svn
- sudo apt-get update
- sudo apt-get install blender

I found that to install any plug-in or application or anything we have to put our administrator password so i tried to remove it but failed finally i found a unlock icon in the user account menu and click it and entered the password..then when i moved to change password option it have an option to NOT to have a password………and then i installed my plug in to play clips…….when next time i boot i was shown that thing again while downloading VLC player and i tried to put the previous password but it shows your authentication attempt was unsuccessful please try again and now i cant install any plug in or software……then i checked user account menu and under password option it is written “None” then i clicked unlock option and it says the same thing…..what to do
