Or you can use Debian!… Which provides “ALL” Software packages on CDs, DVDs and even BluRay Disc!.. but you may only need the first 2 DVDs or first 5 CDs.. Ubuntu is derived from Debian, so users with some experience will manage.. it has the software center too in version 6.0.

I used ubuntu for 3 years before switching to Debian.

where can i find an iso that contains all debs?, i Remember of a site where you can downlaod the iso and you could install all deb from the cd…
